The details that make a search work
You do not need all of these, but the more you can answer, the faster the search converges. Our guide to choosing a bay works through each one, and the calculators will size most of them for you.
- Size — derived from storage and people, not guessed.
- Clear height — from your racking plan.
- Loading — how many doors, dock or grade, and what vehicles arrive.
- Power — amps, phase and voltage from your equipment nameplates.
- Heating and ventilation — particularly any exhaust requirement.
- Use — described the way a municipality would describe it.
- Timing — working back through fit-out and permits.
- Area — where your staff and customers actually are.
